Powerball Days
The odds of matching the Powerball ALONE are harder than 1 in 26, because there is also the chance you could match one or more white balls, in addition to the Powerball, to win another prize. Powerball numbers are drawn from two sets of numbers, so the odds of winning a prize are calculated by combining the odds for both sets of numbers for all. Powerball tickets can be purchased daily. The cut off time for ticket sales is 9:50 PM (ET) on the day of the draw. Drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM (ET). You can watch the live Powerball drawings every Wednesday and Saturday on WGAM, Fox 23 and WABI. Cancelling Tickets. Powerball tickets CANNOT be canceled.

If you check your old ticket and find you've won a prize in a past Powerball draw, you have between 90 and 365 days to claim your winnings, depending on where you bought the ticket (each state treats the old tickets differently). Most tickets will have expiration dates printed on them. If you're lucky enough to win a prize over $600, you'll most likely need to claim at the lottery headquarters in your state.
