The 1965 Churchill coin came in 2 versions like the Charles and Diana coin. There were 9 million of the normal coin struck and they are pretty worthless. However, the VIP version has a rainbow type shine in the metal compared to the dull normal coin. Great Britian 1965 Winston Churchill Crown The obverse of the coin was reserved for the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Churchill’s bust and name appear with seemingly equal esteem on the reverse. It is the first and only pre-decimal British coin to feature an image of a non-monarch.
